Art contest

Calling all potters!!! We are starting a monthly contest to show off pottery masterpieces created in our studio. There will be two classifications - Kids and Adults.

Entering is easy! Just email a photo of your masterpiece to studiopottery@gmail.com  Be sure to include your name, phone number and which class you wish to enter - Kids or Adult.

Photos will be posted to this blog weekly. Winners will be announced around the 1st of each month. Prizes will vary.

To help get you started say the magic word “Picasso” when you pick out your bisque and you will receive a free studio fee. That’s a $5 savings! (The magic word expires on September 26.)

This Week's Masterpieces

Cool Dip!  The bottom (shown above) holds ice.

The top (shown below) holds the dip and a surprise you can only see when all the dip is gone!

Leaping Lizards! ... And snakes and fish!  These are fun.  The snakes in the background are actually boxes. 

And tiles are always fun! 

This one just might be my favorite!

This Week's Masterpieces

It's always fun to see what people have been painting up in the loft.  This week there seems to have been a run on the Jumbo Mugs.

Aren't these fun!!  And the paint technique is easy but spectacular!

 

 
 
 
Jumbo Mugs are just that.  About 4 inches tall  and 5 inches in diameter.  Great for hot beverages, soup, chili!
